I did this thinking thing that I sometimes do and I've got a proposition that might work. Sunday next week I figure there's likely to be a lot of people still hung over from their Saturday. We'll get up early and get to the Met when it opens at 9:30 when the crowds are hopefully low. Then whenever it gets inescapably crowded we'll go, no one else gets to complain.
Deal?

Yvette,
I know, it gets a bit, erm, panic attack inducing out there sometimes. I don't really want to be surrounded by the people any more than you do so it'll work out. And when more people start coming in we can probably avoid them by just moving to another room in the museum. I'd probably drag everyone to stare at art if I could (and they wouldn't get bored).
I'll see if the others are still interested, but all else fails you and I will still go.

Hey, you're like the slightly more dangerous version of me. Or slightly less dangerous depending how you look at it. It's not like I don't have all the same issues with being around people for all the same reasons, you know? Gotta look out for kindred, right?
