I’d like to thank the Professor for providing me with access to your e-mail system.
I don’t think introductions are required, but my name is Christian Kane. What you might not be aware of is that for two decades during the 60s and 70s, I was a high level operative for the British government. In other terms, a secret agent.
It may surprise you to learn that there is a history that is not in any books, and is not acknowledged by anyone. That is a result of the major governments of the world actively covering up certain incidents in a fashion that was designed to be as thorough as possible. During that time, I was sent against numerous threats, ones that I doubt any of you would believe, and the worst of them all was a creature named Baron Zemo.
Baron Zemo was a Nazi scientist, who was Hitler’s favourite researcher. If he hadn’t kept interrupting Zemo’s work and sending him down on new projects as fancy took him, Nazi Germany would have had jet power in 1940 and the atomic bomb in 1943. He was disfigured during a lab accident as a result of an Allied bombing raid. The accident bonded a cloth dust mask to his face.
He disappeared after the war and resurfaced in the late 50s with a robotic army, then a particle beam ray, and so on. Despite his madness, Zemo has the greatest engineering ability and scientific mind that this century has ever seen. Zemo also brought together a group of men and women with strange powers and abilities, and dubbed them the Masters of Evil.
In the 70s, three international agents and myself tracked Zemo to his Doom Fortress, and destroyed it, scattering the Masters of Evil, and as we believed, destroying Zemo in the process. All traces of his plots were carefully covered up and forgotten. No one wanted to see what the reaction of the general public would be to the news that a lunatic nearly blew up the moon.
Why this rambling? Because we confirmed yesterday that Baron Zemo survived, has returned, and is re-assembling the Masters of Evil. More importantly, he is building a new weapon of some type. During our escape, we were able to seize the plans and what he needs to build this new device.
I cannot stress enough how serious this threat is. Zemo is the most dangerous madman since Hitler, and a hell of a lot smarter. His Masters of Evil are immensely dangerous, easily an equal of your Magneto in terms of raw power. If the components can be kept from Zemo, it would critically weaken him.
I've already sent the device component descriptions to Pete Wisdom's people, and contacted my own associates for their expertise. Hopefully, that will be enough.
