Subject: Copycat?

Either I am getting too paranoid, or not paranoid enough, and neither of those is a good thing. Been reading back on the journals.

Touch based mimic teaching hand-to-hand? Taught by special forces types, if she's telling the fucking truth on there, and not just trying to get into Garrison's pants. I remember hearing about someone that would fit that description, and we both know just having fucking small the world around Xavier's is. What I remember hearing does not fill me with with joy and light, or really, the urge to do anything apart from make their life substantially more difficult if the opportunity were to present itself.

Tell me I'm being too paranoid, please. Or if I'm not being paranoid enough, tell me why the fuck I should cut her any slack, as I'm assuming there's a reason you've kept your mouth shut in public.

Pete

The whole small world thing is a cliche, you realize. Sometimes coincidences happen and the only thing to do is to try and minimize the blood in the halls. As for why I would might cut a person some slack, maybe my empathy's getting the better of me. I showed up here in a similar mess once upon a time.

Also, I found myself considering the small matter of Charles and Jean likely frowning on the prospect of someone making life difficult for one of their patients.

Actually, you know, I had a whole strategy. I'm not sure it's a very good strategy, but, well, this is me we're talking about. If you'd rather not take part in my temporary lie of omission, though, just let me know after you tell her, so I can have David warn me when she gets on a plane. (She's due over in a week or so anyway, prior to a trip we're taking, so I'm not sure how much longer the pre-explosion-and-beatings part of my plan would last anyway.)

As for Muir, we snuck back in here last night, late. That super-expensive security system we installed a few years back did manage to catch the bastards on tape - I can send that over? I'd appreciate anything you can dig up. Moira's twitchy enough that she's leaving Ray home with me until I head off to Kyrgyzstan. I can't say I blame her. You and I both remember what happened not long after the last time someone tried to break in at Muir.

Well, yes, that was what I was getting at. I may be angling to get her to commit that violence on me rather than our newest hand-to-hand instructor, but there's no reason you have to share in the fun. Besides, she always feels so guilty when she kicks your ass. I can do without the sad puppy-eyes on top of everything else.

Kygyzstan's going to be such fun when she's not speaking to me except to tell me what a bastard I am. I'm looking forward to it already.

Footage is attached.
