I need to get Sarah out of here, at least for a week. I hate to do it on such short notice, but if I don't spirit her away this weekend, I'm afraid more than the trees out back may wind up with bones embedded in them.

I'm planning on taking her home to the tunnels, at least until customs calls to tell me I can pick up my car. Given enough time, at that point, we'll be swinging up to Boston. I'll have my phone with me for all of this - don't hesitate to call if you need either of us back here.

Again, my apologies for the short notice, and if I have any say in it, a week is as long as we'll be gone. I don't fancy abandoning this place.

I hate to say it, but it looks like I may have to cancel. Girlfriend's about ready to kill everybody in the school, so I'm taking her the hell out of here before I decide it sounds like a fun time and lend her a hand. We'll be about a week, assuming she decides coming back is a fun time - I doubt she won't, really - so we can take a rain check. Or, hell, if we're still in town when you get here, we can meet you for dinner or something. Or bribe you into coming out to Boston for a night, if we're out there already. We'll think of something.
