Are you aware of a Hellfire Club function happening tomorrow night? I'm presuming that the answer is probably yes, which brings me to said strange request - would you consider taking me with you?

We've just gotten information from our source with Trask's people that Shaw is meeting a courier at this party, carrying information from whoever is running the Taygetos program. I don't know about you, but even if I wasn't already directly involved with the matter, I'd be taking exception to Shaw doing business with people breeding and training young mutants for military purposes. I'd like to know what sort of business is being done.

I am indeed planning to attend, for a number of reasons. Despite the fact that he is rather cross with me at the moment, I was intending to have Manuel as my escort for the evening. However, in light of the facts you have outlined, it seems that it would be a good idea to take you along.

As you are not a member, you will have to be my consort. This will leave Manny without a partner and I would prefer not to increase his animosity towards me at this point. Do you have someone that you would consider appropriate to partner Manny for the evening?

Is there any particular reason why you would suggest that Adrienne accompanies us?

Her powers could be helpful, she's not overly aggressive, and it's perhaps a little more plausible that your sister the successful businesswoman should be there, as opposed to a random young female X-Man?
