Manuel,

Would it be at all possible for me to buy you a coffee or a drink one evening in the near future in exchange for some information about the Hellfire Club? My sister and I plan on having a discussion about membership when she returns to the country and I'd like to go into that discussion a tiny bit more knowledgeable and... prepared to meet with her than I am currently. If you would be willing to shed a little more light on the club in general, I would very much appreciate it. And I promise, no ogling whatsoever.

Very good.

I take back what I said in my last email. I was told that I may have avoided it, that my absence from the mansion was a good decision. The warning had much to do with me and my powers and from what I understand, little to do with anyone else, except possibly your sister, or you, now that I consider it.

Allow me to be more specific. Marie Ange has the gift to see what is going to happen before it does. Her vision was of me trapped in a hall of mirrors, all broken, and hiding in snowglobes. It was vague, even from her, though it has much to do with my powers. The rest is up for speculation. Another email from her this morning assured me that whatever went on this morning, me leaving was the right choice in the entire matter. I will remain away from the mansion until she assures me that whatever it is that she is seeing has past.

I know Marie Ange is a precog, yes. But I'm failing to see how this may have something to do with me, unless I give in to speculation and propose that the only thing you, my sister, and myself have in common is that we went to a Hellfire Club function together. As I cannot see Marie Ange deliberately not warning me if I was in any danger, however, I suppose I also have to assume that it was the details of the way the vision presented itself that made you consider my involvement and not the vision's warning itself? Of course you should remain away until what she sees has passed. It would be silly to stay when warned against it.
