Shiro,
Could I possibly talk you into tutoring me in Japanese? I am going to be doing powers training with Noriko Kikuchi for the foreseeable future, and I'd like to narrow the communication gap as much as possible. Even if I cannot manage much in the way of fluency, I do think it would help to at least get a sense of how Japanese works as opposed to English.
Sincerely,
Jean-Paul Beaubier

But yes, I will gladly help you. Please let me know when you would like to meet.

Truly? She seemed entirely pleasant to me. Well, except for the handshake, but she was illustrating a point.
We can meet at your earliest convenience. Morgan has recently moved out of my suite again, so you don't need to worry about turning up unannounced. Thank you very much for making the attempt.
