Manuel-
Just checking in, since I know Marie-Ange had seen some things that she was going to warn you about. How are you doing?
There's a bit of rumor going around about you and Adrienne Frost, in case you didn't know. And speaking of the Frosts, um, has Emma spoken to you about...changes to the White Court?

The warning, regardless, was appreciated.
She does. I was giving her a detailed description of the requirements for the positions. Those details are something you are required to know as well. Should you need, you may asked.
She did not tell you then? I was under the impression she had. I believe she made you Knight before she decided to move me to Bishop. I can only hope you are proficient with a sword.

I'm glad it was useful.
Emma has indicated she wishes to have a meeting with me when she returns to the States, so if I have any questions after that, I might ask you.
She didn't tell me. Then again, her decision to name me Knight was rather abrupt. I'm all right with a sword. Well, broadsword.

You are welcome to ask me and I will provide any information I can to help.
A broadsword is unacceptable. Do you have any other training and yes, she is rather abrupt with details and decisions. I was told to leave for Spain on very little notice.

I rather expected that 'unacceptable'. No other training than Asgardian broadsword, and even that was a little impromptu. Ambi wasn't exactly formal. I defeated a man wielding a rapier, but I had the advantage of a very ramped-up power at that time.

This makes me cringe Doug. We will get together when I return and we will go over basics. I am out of shape concerning my swordsmanship and perhaps we can talk business.
And your manners? Do they require training as well. HFC has many parties and I would prefer you to be well mannered to impress on your first party. Many will be watchimg.

That sounds good. I'm always up for learning something new, especially where it regards defense or weapons. And I think talking business would be a good idea at this point.
If there's one thing that doesn't require training, it's my manners. Side effect of my power is that I tend to blend in rather easily at any kind of social engagement.

You can always learn from a new opponent, especially one that is on the same side as you.
Two words. Thank God.
