Please ensure your suits are dry-cleaned and fitted. I cannot yet confirm the date but it has been agreed by the Inner Court that an investiture will take place shortly.

As such, please consider the nature of the tests that are likely to be relevant to your new positions and ensure that you are prepared for all eventualities.

I apologise for my current unavailability. I had thought to discuss the matter with you both personally, but - as is the way with Snow Valley - I am currently cooling my heels in some Godforsaken ex-Soviet monument to communism gone wrong, waiting to save the world again.

Why does saving the world never need to happen in Paris? Or Milan? When I am being evil, I at least have the good sense to do it somewhere with excellent communication systems and luxurious fashion houses. And a butler. A concierge, at the very least.

Doug: a broadsword is more than acceptable. Subtlety is much admired in the Courts, but I personally am not averse to very large weapons when required. Style is important. Getting the job done is what actually matters.

Manuel: I will provide sufficient notice to ensure that you can organise babysitting. You will need to be focussed at the investiture and I will take all steps necessary to ensure that you are.

Now, I return to waiting. I plan, at the very least, to get a good fur hat out of our latest adventure.
