Dear Kevin,

I hope you are well. I am sorry to not have written for the while. It has been very busy with the play rehersals and school and the things that are normally happening here. I think I am doing well with the play, although Karolina says it is being cursed because someone was saying "Macbeth" on the stage. There have been many small accidents. No-one is being hurt, but they are very annoying sometimes. I think that the play will be very good any way as everyone is working very hard to make it so, and the students from Salem Centre are trying very hard to be friendly to us.

As I am saying, I have talked to Jay again. He is being much more calm now and was not frightening at all. He is more like the old self. He did ask me to make the favour for him. He is wanting his guitar back from you and asked me if I could ask you to send it to him. He says it is not because he is angry, he just wants his guitar back. I hope this means he is going to try playing the music again. He will not be able to sing. His voice has been changed too much. :(

There is also another new boy at the school. His name is Fred and his power is that he cannot be hurt. He seems to be nice although he is shy also, like me. He seems to be settling in well.

I do not think I have any more news, so I will go. Please write and tell me how you are? I miss you.

Karolina thinks it's cursed? Curses are superstitions, don't listen to her. People think something's cursed so every bad thing that happens they say is because of the curse when it's got nothing to do with a curse and it's just because you're clumsy or someone doesn't like you or because stuff happens. Murphy's Law: What can go wrong will go wrong. Stuff just happens, there's no curse.

What took him so long? Two and a half months and he didn't want it back yet? I thought he'd want it back in January or something. How come he's having you ask me? Why doesn't he just ask me himself? Or is he still on that whole "I don't want to see Kevin" thing? Jerk.

You guys are getting lots of new people, huh? Sounds crowded. It's cool that there's someone else around you don't need to worry about hurting, though.

I've got no real news. Same old here. Well, there's this art competition thing that people keep poking me to enter. It's got to be drawn or painted, though. No sculpture allowed. So I'm not really sure I want to do it but maybe I'll enter something anyway. I mean, cash prize and a print of it would be in an art magazine and stuff so that'd be cool. One step closer to Leo's dream of "Art By Kevin Ford this summer in Central Park" and all.

The play's going good? It's on the 2nd, right? Two weeks, that's a lot of time still, isn't it? I never did plays and stuff so I'm not sure how much time you need for that sorta thing.
