What you are saying to Kyle yesterday, it was very wrong. I thought you were understanding, being the monster, the freak with the other freaks, yes? It seems you are not.
I thought you were the friend. It seems you are not.

I do get it. I'm sorry it's coming across the wrong way. I'd say the same things to myself. Looking back, it did seem to piss him off pretty bad.
I'm not going to excuse myself. But the way I've always seen it if you can't laugh a bit at what you are it has this tendency to drive you insane. Once you know just what you are though, what people can call you - anything they can call you - shouldn't bother you.
Though I really didn't mean to tick him off that bad...

There is the reason he was being upset. Two years ago he and Marius and Jennie were kidnapped by the bad scientist and turned into the mutant hunters. They were made to be the animals, to be tracking other mutants. The man was calling them the Hounds. So the making of the dog jokes is always reminding him of that time when he was not the person, only the animal. You did not know this so perhaps you did not mean to be so cruel, but you were.
Kyle has been very good to be teaching me to laugh at myself. But we are all having the limits, yes? And perhaps you do not care, but I do. This is why I was being angry at Monet for making the rude remarks about Fred. You understood that. How is it you did not understand that you were making Kyle too much upset too?

Well, damn...
Okay. I didn't know that. If I did I wouldn't have said anything. And it's really hard to tell over text if someone's joking or what. Yeah, I should've stopped. But I didn't.
I'll apologize to him. Which is something I really don't normally do. But yeah. I didn't know that and if I did - well, too late for that now. What's done is done.
Sorry I disappointed you. But that happens too.
