Adrienne,
I was wondering if I could ask a favor of you. Your modeling agency has a slush pile of head shots and other photos of model wannabes, right? I need to start creating some new profiles, and I'd like to have some photos to work from. Could I borrow some of the pictures from people you've rejected?
Regards,
Jake

Four weeks each, Jubilee gets one couch and I get the other?
I call dibs on Doug's.

Rumor has it there's a new place opening in the Village. Wanna go check it out?

My last class is at three. Are you coming here or am I going to you?

I think it's walking distance from the Brownstone. I can meet you there around 5:30?

Four weeks of a blissful lack of food thievery sounds good to me. Now, to details. Where are you going to put yours, Jake? Also, I think we're going to need some heavy lifters to maneuver the stairwells.
Angie, didn't you say something about Inez Temple the other day?

I did, and I owe her an email, but I am a bit concerned about her attitude at the moment and the fact that in moving those sofas, she may be confronted with the fact that, as an example, you have a shoulder holster in your winter coat.

I'll leave it up to your call. With regard to the holster, there's only that one out, and I can go move that one into the lockdown cabinet with everything else if you give me ten minutes' warning.

In my shiny new apartment, of course.
...My shiny, empty apartment, that is.

Your shiny new apartment? You mean Emma and Remy decided to let you have one of the apartments?
Mazel tov! I think. :D
Off for drinks with Forge, but yes, we'll have to christen your new living space with a couch. And booze. And cake.

Was I supposed to talk to one of them about it? I just broke into the empty one next to Wanda's...

Jake,
Seeing as you work for LeBeau and my sister I'm a little bit wary about giving you access to the faces of anyone I'm associated with, even if that association is nothing more than having rejected them as models. But since it's you and I happen to have a certain fondness for you, brought on by brain damage I'm sure, I may be able to accommodate your request. I'll get some slushies from my international offices for you to look at to use here, and I'll make a portfolio of locals you can use when you're not in this country. Those would be the guidelines I'd insist upon. If this suits you, I can bring them over later in the week.
I'd like to see you again.
Regards,
Adrienne.

Sure. All I ask in return is your expert assistance in choosing appropriate faces--it is, after all, what you do so well. Come on over. I think the chef's got this week off, but I know a place that does excellent take out.
Looking forward to it.
Jake
ps The less interesting the better; I'm looking for people who don't stand out, if possible.

How about friday night?
ps: Yes, I assumed as much. I've been schooled in the fine art of mimic-picking by Morgan.

Friday night it is. Say, seven?
Jake
ps Fair enough. I only mention it because in your line of work, one tends to be drawn to the unusual and interesting. No offence meant.

p.s. None taken. I am drawn to the unusual and interesting. Why do you think I'm coming over?
