Now that I'm no longer attempting to throw up a vital organ, I managed to get the last information compiled from Denver.

In no uncertain terms, it appears to have been a complete wash in terms of either Magneto's involvement or any indication of an organized mutant group moving into narcotics smugglings. It would appear that after both his appearance in New York, highly televised trial and his on-line manifesto, that 'Magneto' has become the catch-all for any random mutant group or siting. In this case, a man who worked as a security guard and with the charming ballastic vomit power was simply your run of the mill criminal that a few rumours blew far out of proportion.

That, Jake's pants inititive aside, still leaves us utterly blind in relation to either Magneto's intentions, plans, location or capabilities, with or without the Brotherhood. After Wisdom, this is the largest and most extensive risk to the security of the mansion that we face. If we can come up with a plan to change this, we need to do it soon.

Subject: Next semester's classes

It shows how little attention I pay to the updates when I get six bounced emails from Mr. Wisdom's old staff address, and I check to see that guidance counselor stuff's supposed to be going to you now.

It's safe to assume that I'll pass all my classes this semester, with the exception of a Drop in Phys. Ed, and my Music 102 final being delayed until I have two working hands to play a piano with. So next year, this is what I was looking at, given the courses I've already completed.

-Advanced Composition. Is Professor Xavier still teaching this class? I've had it highly recommended.

-Philosophy and Ethics / Critical Thinking. Ms. Dane suggested I sit in on this class. I'd like to add it to next semester's load if possible. I know that Professor Xavier and Dr. Grey have interesting things to add about telepathic ethics as well.

-Government and Economics. Not sure who's teaching this, and I know it's a senior year requirement, but I'd like to get it out of the way early if possible?

-Independent Study. I'm pursuing advanced electronics and design through Dr. McCoy, and cybernetics/bionics design through Dr. MacTaggart. Dr. McCoy mentioned there's paperwork for these to count as college credit, too?

-Debate. I don't see this class on this year's schedule. But I've had four different teachers now tell me I need to sign up for it. Is it being added, or am I not getting the joke?

Thanks,

JH Forge

P.S.: Since I'm not going to be able to take the Jeep out driving for a while, can you take her for a spin around the grounds this week to keep her in shape?

I know you were handling projection-practice with him last fall, before his misadventures with the Hellfire Club. I didn't think you'd be too disappointed if I took it on instead? Charles and I did discuss the fact that you worked with him the last time this was going on, but I really do think that it's going to be easier, or at least less hard on me. It's struck me lately that you've found a kind of balance, too, and I don't think that needs to be disrupted.

Besides, for all that I didn't say it in the staff post, I did leave things with Manuel very much unfinished. I can do this now, Alison, and I intend to knock it out of the ballpark this time.

First off, I'm glad you had a good honeymoon.

Secondly, good luck. Honestly. I know most people think I want him like, dead or something but if you can teach him then that's what I'm hoping for. Maybe if he's got more control he won't feel as threatened by everyone.

I didn't mean to push any particularly sensitive buttons today - and I think I'd actually like to discuss the topic with you (if it's okay) once tensions aren't running so high. I think that since I don't have any real emotional stake vested in those kind of issues that I didn't recognize that the discussion was so heated, and in that context, that my comments could have been taken as inappropriate.

It's too bad you're going to college next year, I'm told there's a Debate class starting up that I think we'd have some good interaction in.

This is kind of also to Angie by proxy, I suppose. You're well aware, I assume, that everyone's on edge with finals and today's argument series on the journals didn't help, I bet. So tomorrow, the march of the pastry artillery will begin. And one-armed as I am, I'm going to need someone to help me load the Jello Cannon. Dr. McCoy's happy to play Hannibal to my Napoleon here, feel like playing Patton?

Hey, I know you're nose-deep in your studying right now (and that's weird, but awesome. You're going to do fine, man) - but feel up to giving me a hand with a mass-quantities raid on the pantry tonight to get some, uh, materials for a project tomorrow? We're gonna need a LOT of Jello...

The box is broken, so I'm gonna take my volatile mental state out of here for a bit so I don't drive Dani or the others nuts and so I don't kill Forge.

Want to come?
