Sir,
As we discussed a while back, I'm in the Flight class this semester, despite being rather groundbound. Doctor MacTaggart suggested I gain a better understanding of mutant abilities by comparing them to engineering that I understand. Flight and aeronautics seem to go hand in hand there. Although I know I will be unable to do 'practical' work for the class as it stands, I will be more than happy to compensate through whatever projects you feel necessary.
Thank you for the opportunity.

Dr. McCoy,
I assume my independent study courses will continue this semester? I have been looking at an ESU course on Evolutionary Design Theory, something that Mr. al-Rashid suggested to me. I'd like to work with that, if I may.
Also, I'll be free this afternoon once I get a small nap, and I'd like to come down and talk.

Mr. Dayspring,
I have to admit that Miss Monroe has painted your history class in a slightly darker light than I was anticipating - I believe the words 'meat grinder' were used. Nevertheless, despite it not being my baliwick, I am up to the challenge.
As for the Humanities course, however, I have no idea what to expect, as it wasn't offered at my old school. Can I get a primer or something before walking in blind Thursday?

Date: 2005-01-11 08:06 pm (UTC)All perfectly reasonable. As the class goes on, I should have an idea of what kind of data will be needed, and will provide you with regular progress reports, as well as Dr. MacTaggart.
I understand the need for confidentiality of specific data, of course.
