Formally requesting leave from the team for approximately four or five days from the twenty-first onward... no, I haven't had enough sleep to be formal.
Given that Jean seems to be handling things fine, would it be possible for me and Madelyn to take a few days off? Or perhaps just me, she hasn't let me know yet if she wants to come. It's my parents' anniversary on Saturday, and if I can be spared, I'd like to visit. I haven't seen them since before New Years, and they really want to meet Billy and my new lady friend. If they want to go, I'd like to take Kyle, Dani, and Forge, too. My folks want to meet them as well. (I forgot all about the anniversary until my computer reminded me, or I would have asked sooner.)

There'll be fresh air, plenty of good farm food, and tractor rides for all. :) And forcible honorary grandparenting, probably - my parents consider anyone I bring home to be fair game for fussing.
