Anyhow. It's not an immediate threat, from what I understand, but something went badly wrong at Nathan's meeting with his father today. He's not in great shape, I gather. Charles doesn't think we have anything to worry about right now, but a little extra vigilance never hurts.

... all right, here's the plan. I finish out the shift with Cain, hand it over to the next victim on the roster, and tell them to ping my com if anything unusual happens. Since it's as silent as the dead down here, except for the grumbling Cain's been doing since he made the mistake of looking over my shoulder.

At that point, I can come running upstairs and make up for leaving you all alone up there all night.
