Forge,

I discovered that sometime next week there will be solar flare ups.
This would not normally be a problem but I've got data and reason to
believe that this could very well interfere with the upcoming Jono
experiment. Possibly to the point of the experiment _not_ working since
it looks like it will throw off some hard data of yours.

So. Get Paige, get ready. The lab will be yours this evening and I'll
be supervising. This really is a matter of time is of the essence.

I know you've got that knight in shinning armor thing going on, and I respect any guy like that. But, bringing back her boyfriend! Do you _like_ being a masochist?

And as for how I know, dude, I just knew, okay? You don't need to be a genius to put two and two together. I saw the look on your face everytime you were around her.

Do you need to leave and go someplace or talk? Cause if you do, you know who to call. Email. Whatever.

Subject: we're here

We landed in Srinagar about an hour ago. The hotel knew we'd be arriving late so the rooms were ready as soon as we got here, and Angelo's just done a faceplant onto his bed. I don't think I'll try and rouse him. Sleeping in his clothes won't hurt him, although I should probably go relieve him of his shoes.

The drive to the hotel was beautiful. All the lights from the houseboats on the Dal Lake at night... I'd forgotten how beautiful Kashmir was. I can't wait to wake up to the Himalayas in the morning.

Just wish you were here to see it. Kiss the munchkin for me? I'll talk to you in a few days.

Subject: I have to salute you.

You're a far better man than I. I felt everything, of course. Come up and see me, I'll pour you a glass and we can toast us, the Neglected, the Left-Behind, the Overlooked.

But lest it get lost in the mourning - you did the right thing. For the right reasons. Keep hold of that fact, it should keep you warm on those lonely cold nights.
