Not so much a great work as just business as usual. The benefit of having a 72 hour sleep cycle is that you can stretch out work to the hours when no one is likely to come by and bother you. Or to be sitting around texting drunken peers while system backups run.

Have you ever tried to stop anyone from drinking without physically removing the alcohol from their presence? It's not possible. As long as they can keep texting, they're not in danger of alcohol poisoning. I'd rather they keep talking.

So long as they're within about 500 miles, yes. I could give the whole spiel about cross-band persistent carrier theory and signal perpetuation enabling me to triangulate their location to within a meter in less than the aforementioned fifteen seconds - but there are character limits on these.
